What is Arumi Pulse?
A good PEMF mat is an investment, so we wanted yours to work as hard as possible. We designed Arumi Pulse covers so one CELLER8® mat can be shared by the whole family: your horse on the yard, your dog or cat at home, and you on the sofa or in the car.
The mat and controller stay the same. You simply change the cover: a quilted equine cover on the yard, a soft Snuggle Top in the dog's bed, a seat cover on your sofa or in the car.
The CELLER8® large pet mat comes with its own wipeable cover, so the mat itself is always fully protected. Your Arumi Pulse covers then go on top.
Arumi Pulse is our own brand, designed and made by Arumi Companions to fit the CELLER8® mat and controller. CELLER8® is a separate brand, made in Maidstone, Kent. We're an authorised CELLER8® stockist.
The Arumi Pulse covers
For the stable
The quilted equine cover holds the mat across your horse's back, with a breastplate and straps to keep it in place while you groom, tack up or muck out.
For home and the crate
The Arumi Snuggle Top, in soft, non-slip veterinary fleece, turns the mat into a cosy spot for your dog or cat, or for a working dog settling in their crate after a busy day. Lots of our human customers choose it too, because it's so comfortable.
For you
The human cover fits a sofa, office chair or car seat, so you can use the same mat while you read, work or travel.
On the move
A heavy-duty anti-chew cable sleeve and a quilted carry bag keep everything together between yard, home and car.
All Arumi Pulse covers are machine washable at 30°C.
Does a cover weaken the pulse? No. Fabric, fleece and plastic don't block a magnetic field, so the pulse from the mat passes straight through every Arumi Pulse cover. The covers simply add comfort, grip and a washable layer.
The Arumi Pulse controller case
Give your CELLER8® PEMF controller an extra layer of protection for life on a busy yard. Each Arumi Pulse case is made in Dorset to fit the controller exactly, and closes around it like a clam shell.
- Protects the display from knocks, drops and scrapes on the yard.
- Screen and dial stay visible, so you can change programme without taking it out.
- Short strap on the back: clip the controller to the equine cover if you'd rather not use the neck strap, or slip your hand through it to hold the controller securely.
- Hand-held spot sessions: the controller has its own coil, and its pulse still passes through the case, so you can hold it over one area.
Included as standard in both equine kits. Available as a bolt-on for the Canine & Feline Companion Kit, £59.

No noise, no vibration and no cables to the mains. You'll hear one click when you switch on, and that's it.

Morning, Evening, Meditation or Night, each with its own gentle frequency range.
Carry on
Groom, read or let them rest. The battery lasts up to 44 hours between charges.

Is Arumi Pulse made by CELLER8®?
No. Arumi Pulse is our own brand of covers and accessories, designed to fit the CELLER8® mat and controller. CELLER8® is a separate British brand, and we're an authorised stockist.
Can one mat really work for my horse, dog and me?
Yes. The mat and controller stay the same, and you change the cover. Many households use the same mat on the yard in the morning and in the dog's bed in the evening.
Do I need the controller case?
For horses, we include it in both equine kits for extra peace of mind around the yard. The strap on the back also turns the controller into a hand-held for spot sessions. For dogs and cats indoors it's optional, and you can add it to the Companion Kit for £59.
Can I use the controller on its own?
Yes. The controller has its own coil, so you can use it without the mat. Wear it at your waist in the morning while you're doing the yard, or hold it over one area for a spot session. The short strap on the back of the case lets you clip it to the equine cover, or slip your hand through it to hold it securely.
Do the covers reduce the PEMF signal?
No. A magnetic field passes through fabric, fleece and plastic, so the pulse reaches your horse, dog, cat or you through the cover. What matters is staying close to the mat, which is why the covers sit directly over the coils.
Can I add a cover later?
Yes. Start with the kit that suits you now and add an equine cover or an extra Snuggle Top whenever you need one.
Is it noisy?
No. There's one click when you switch on, then nothing: no noise and no vibration, which suits sensitive horses and nervous dogs.
Can PEMF replace my vet or physio?
No. Arumi Pulse is for everyday wellbeing and routine care between professional visits. It isn't a substitute for veterinary or medical diagnosis or treatment.
What warranty do I get?
CELLER8® devices come with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. If you ever have a problem with any part of your kit, email contact@arumicompanions.co.uk and we'll help.
